Shaun B shares his new single ‘Besame’.

Shaun B is a Jamaican-born R&B singer who came to the United States at the age of eight, where his family settled in Atlanta; coincidentally right down the street from where 21 Savage grew up. After high school he joined the Army and, after nine years there, left to pursue music. He has spent the majority of his career working in the hip-hop hotbed of Atlanta which many of the artists in the area.

Since his debut project “Cocaine In The Morning” dropped in 2016, Shaun B’s stock continually has risen. His ambient, hypnotic sounds have led to features on such sites such as MTV, RESPECT Mag, EARMILK and more. Singers Room categorized his single “Vacay” as a substance-induced sonic experience. Following the release of “Vacay”, Shaun released “Cocaine In The Evening” in February 2017. The SlowKings produced “Besame” will be the first single off of Shaun B’s forthcoming project “Songs About Women” dropping
November 9th.

Shaun told Mass Appeal, “’Besame’ is a song to visualize in your mind. The goal was to make a record that you couldn’t just hear it and not instantly go back to a past intimate relationship. And with the seasons changing, this song just feels right as if your on a villa in Italy with that someone special in your life.”
