Hollywood Mickey is an artist, and as well he’s a part owner of the burgeoning independent label, Traphouse Digital. Since he often reveals the harsh realities of the drug wars, he considers his music to be “anti-trap” in that he doesn’t just glorify the more glamorous sides of narcotics distribution. He makes sure to include the flip side of incarceration, death, guilt, & pain. He’s certainly speaking from a place of knowledge.
