Pete Rock has helped shape the sound of Hip-Hop. Now, the legendary producer presents AMXXR with “What You Gonna Do,” the first single from AMXXR’s forthcoming album, “DopeBoySoul”. The project pairs Pete Rock’s signature soul with a voice grounded in survival, faith, and reinvention.
“What You Gonna Do” is about seeing the blessing in the pressure, trusting God’s timing and becoming better than your last version,” AMXXR explains. “Peace Beloved!”
Having previously toured with Pete Rock and Slum Village, AMXXR will join them again on November 5 at Brooklyn Bowl in Philadelphia, bringing that magic to the stage ahead of DopeBoySoul on 4th December 2026.
