One of the LA rap scene’s most consistently present voices, Hugh Augustine joins The Internet’s Syd Tha Kyd on his newest single, “Nights on Replay,” chronicling the surreal joy of a night in LA that we hope could last forever. THE MOST ART production evokes the smoky dreamlike vibes of evenings out, with intercut scintillating vocals from Syd, and Hugh Augustine’s raps contain a chill reserve, simmering at just the right frequency to channel the sleepless ecstasy of an eternal 4AM.
The narrative visual, which takes place within an evening on loop in Los Angeles, was directed by Aplus (Schoolboy Q‘s “Man of the Year,” Kendrick Lamar‘s “HiiPower”) Fredo Tovar, Scott Fleischman, and Edwin Tovar.
