Styles P & araabMUZIK Haunt New York On “Ghost of Gotham”
New York has produced plenty of voices, but few have carried the weight of its streets as consistently as Styles P.
The LOX veteran connects with producer araabMUZIK for “Ghost of Gotham,” a new single that brings two distinctly New York sensibilities together. araabMUZIK handles the production while Styles steps into the shadows with the direct, uncompromising delivery that has made The Ghost one of Hip-Hop’s most respected lyricists.
The title couldn’t fit much better.
“Ghost Of Gotham” plays naturally off Styles P’s longtime Ghost moniker while placing him against the mythology of New York City itself. Gotham becomes more than a nickname for the city—it feels like territory Styles has spent decades walking, documenting, and surviving.

araabMUZIK gives Styles P the kind of backdrop where his voice thrives. Rather than crowding the record, the production establishes the atmosphere and allows Styles’ presence to carry the rest.
That combination makes sense. Both artists come from traditions where the beat and the bars have to speak for themselves. Styles doesn’t need to reinvent his approach to fit araabMUZIK’s production, and araab doesn’t need to soften his sound to accommodate Styles.
The result is New York Hip-Hop with the lights turned down.
The accompanying artwork pushes that idea even further. A rain-soaked Manhattan is washed almost entirely in black and blood red, with the Empire State Building looming beneath a ghostly figure in the sky. “Ghost of Gotham” signs dominate the buildings like a movie marquee, transforming New York into Styles P’s own noir landscape.
There is history behind the imagery, but “Ghost of Gotham” isn’t simply trading on nostalgia. Styles continues to demonstrate why longevity and complacency aren’t the same thing.
The Ghost is still outside. Gotham is still his city.
“Ghost of Gotham” also arrives during an active stretch for araabMUZIK.
The producer recently joined forces with fellow producer Fuse for Womanizer, released September 4, 2026. The project is available across DSPs and includes appearances from Swizz Beatz and K Camp.
Now, with “Ghost of Gotham,” araabMUZIK shifts the atmosphere back toward the darker side of New York and gives Styles P another setting built for bars.
