Retro gaming meets professional mic rippers for a new single. Great Neck, New York’s AWOL Da Mindwriter continues his audio partnership with August Fanon (Mach Hommy, Vic Spencer) for “Chaos Control.” A reference to a Sega Dreamcast early 90’s classic, Sonic Adventure 2, the high velocity bars are amplified with a guest appearance from underground legend, Planet Asia (and cuts by DJ Pinn).
Speaking on the link-up, AWOL said, “Chaos Control was a power-up in the Sonic universe used for battle. I view this track as a blood sport with two emcees making other emcees not wanna reckon with us.”
“Chaos Control” is the newest leak from the forthcoming collaborative AWOL Da Mindwriter and August Fanon album, Now Loading. Several other tracks from the project have previously been released, including the recent “Altered Beast,” “Disconnected,” and “Golden Gun.
