The aptly named ‘Bump’ is the latest single taken from Rations, the forthcoming album from Underground Hip-hop vets, Dillon and Paten Locke. ‘The beat was literally BUMPing so I just built the hook and concept around that,’ Dillon says about his writing process.
The swirling, somewhat eerie beat has a monstrous thumping bassline that drives the track for Dillon’s off-kilter, comedic raps and funky scratches. The track is also joined by legendary golden-era MCs, Wordsworth and Black Sheep Dres.
