Kydd Jones goes international with his new romantic banger, “My Fav” featuring Nigerian artist David Meli as well as contributions from NIP Productions and RDYSETDEAD. Kydd recently released a mixtape earlier this summer entitled Saints in St John, which had his hometown paper The Austin Chronicle saying that “Jones’ versatility shines through yet again… [and] is at his most captivating when he weaves through different cadences while switching between rapping and singing.”
The Texas-based singer-songwriter/producer/emcee wraps up a busy 2024 which saw him performing at the SPIN Magazine SXSW showcase and the official Austin FC jersey release party at ACL Live. He was also featured alongside fellow ATX legend and Grammy Award-winning guitarist Gary Clark Jr on a new single entitled Send Love. Kydd’s next live performance is scheduled to be at the Central Library event space in downtown Austin, TX on February 23rd, 2025.
