The “For the Culture” remix brings six of San Diego’s top emcees together for a long awaited collaboration on the latest release from the SD State of Mind compilation. “SD State of Mind Vol. 1 – Daygo Renaissance” is a 16 song compilation album enlisting a cast of Emcees and Producers based in San Diego, California.
For almost 3 years before the pandemic, there was a weekly event called, #HipHopWEDS, that was home to a mixture of styles and cultures from all corners of the county. This record is a direct reflection of that community and the diverse sound of San Diego Hip-Hop. Just our small piece of the city…but it’s a fuckin master-piece. “SD State of Mind Vol. 1 – Daygo Renaissance” will be available on all streaming platforms Friday June 25th.
