Newark, New Jersey’s Mek is arguably one of the most lyrically poetic artist of his generation.  Emerging in the wake of legends such as Redman, Nas, Jay-Z, & Beanie Segal, his artistry was established in the era of the early 90s where making a classic record weighed more on the ability to paint a picture with words.
