Rome Streetz & Conductor Williams Release Highly Anticipated Collaborative Album ‘Trainspotting’

Rome Streetz & Conductor Williams - Trainspotting (LP)

Rome Streetz and Conductor Williams highly anticipated collaborative project, Trainspotting, is the confluence of two artists at the apex of their respective trajectories.  Trainspotting is now available via Mass Appeal.

Rome Streetz ascension has swelled with each successive release.  The effortlessness of his elite rhyming, his style, Rome just exudes an undeniable cool; the type of cool most superstars possess, and that translates to being comfortable in any room or situation.  Rome is now in a space where, when spirited debates around “top 10 emcee lists” are being held, you’re more than likely going to see his name included.  Starting with his Noise Kandy series, which lead to his deal with Griselda (where Rome released his breakout effort Kiss The Ring—which was also the starting point for Rome & Conductor’s chemistry, as he produced seven tracks) and has continued with joint efforts with producers such as DJ Muggs, Futurewave and most recently Daringer.

At this juncture of his career, what is Rome Streetz after?  Recognition? King Of NY status?  Mainstream success?  Validation?   Fame?  Why not have it all?  Trainspotting verifies that Rome is on the cusp of fully realizing that potential, and he has Conductor Williams directing the trip.  “Trainspotting is me flexing on Conductor production,” Rome Streetz asserts.  “This is for our long-time fans who loved what we did on Kiss The Ring; and this new album is all of that amplified.  Conductor and I have great chemistry.”

Everything about Conductor Williams is unconventional, especially for music producers. His daily routine includes waking up at 4 am to pray and study religious texts.  In a previous life, a real life train engineer, Conductor Williams’s ascent has been both organic and blue-collar.  A true self-made success story, Conductor has elevated from starving artist to Grammy-Award winner and his brand of sonic dissonance has become the preferred sound for the industry’s biggest names and celebrated artists (Drake, J.Cole, Tyler, The Creator, Wiz Khalifa, Westside Gunn, Benny The Butcher, Conway The Machine, Joey Bada$$, Mach Hommy, Boldy James, Russ and JID to name a few).

With his star rapidly ascending and confirmed status as one of the most sought-after producers in the world, Conductor could have tapped virtually anyone to create a collaborative project with; the fact that he picked Rome speaks volumes.  “The beats and lyricism on this album are in their highest forms.  I produced Trainspotting to be a steady wave of records intended for high replay value,” Conductor Williams ensures.

Trainspotting is an immersive experience from start to finish, and the chemistry between Rome and Conductor literally jumps through your headphones.  Lead by the album’s first single and video “Rule 4080”, the juxtaposition of Rome’s nonchalant cool, lyrical imagery, raw raps, and vivid street tales aligned with Conductor’s abstract symphonic creates a dystopian soundtrack for the streets.

Innately aware of the moment and the baked-in expectations attached to their union, Rome Streetz and Conductor Williams rise to the occasion and exceed all expectations with Trainspotting
