SkyBlew and Navo The Maestro make their SpitFireHipHop debuts with “Keys Of Light” album.
SkyBlew is a young emcee from North Carolina by way of Auburn, Alabama. He is a hip-hop newcomer but has the sound of someone who has been doing this for some years. SkyBlew takes you back to a time when hip-hop was about lyrics and uplifting the culture. He opens the album with a track called “You Should Be Listening,” and he is correct. If you are not listening to him, you missing out.
Skyblew is being called “the voice for a new generation,” and after listening we believe you will agree.
His music is positive and inspirational but it still gets the fans attention with infectious beats, and unique lyrics. His style is reminiscent of: A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Digable Planets etc., and that is no cap.
Not only does his rhymes resemble those aforementioned, but the production is reminiscent of that era as well. Speaking from his life experiences such as: foster care, homelessness and etc., he uses his message in hopes to make a difference.
