Dallas-based rapper and producer Nojo Wallace is proud to announce his new EP GOLDIE is due for release August 20th. Produced entirely by Nojo Wallace himself, the upcoming EP includes features from Bando., Pierce Washington, Rahzil, and Scuttino. Along with the announcement, Nojo Wallace shares the project’s lead single “MINE (ACT I) featuring Bando.
On “MINE (ACT I),” Nojo Wallace connects with Bando., a multi-faceted artist that has garnered millions of streams through collaborations with Isaiah Rashad, Samm Henshaw, Mick Jenkins, Kal Banx, and more. The single is a soulful hip-hop track that showcases Nojo Wallace’s versatility not only as a rapper and producer, but as a vocalist as well.
The title GOLDIE reflects Wallace’s alter ego draped in gold, unbound by hesitation, and unafraid to say or do exactly what he wants. The project’s unapologetic energy stems from a pivotal conversation with Wallace’s uncle, who urged him to drop his humble approach and fully embrace his confidence and artistry. GOLDIE is the result—a fearless, self-assured statement piece.
Unlike his last release, GOLDIE is fully produced, written, and creatively directed by Wallace—from the beats to the lyrics to the cover art. “I wanted to really show that I can do it all at an extremely high level,” he explains. Highlights from the tracklist include the cinematic “OPENINGCREDITS,” the infectious “OKAYLETSGO,” and the two-part standout “MINE (ACT I & II)”—with ACT I delivering undeniable hit potential and ACT II pushing Wallace into experimental territory with unexpected falsetto vocals.
With GOLDIE, Nojo Wallace isn’t just releasing new music—he’s stepping fully into his power and inviting listeners to witness the transformation. Nojo Wallace will also be joining Pierce Washington on tour in August, bringing the bold energy of GOLDIE to live audiences. Pre-save GOLDIE: https://vyd.co/NojoWallaceGoldie
