Bruiser Wolf Releases New Single “Why They Play Me?” Feat. BabyTron & Announces New Project ‘Push & Paint’

Bruiser Wolf - Why They Play Me

Detroit vs. Everyone!  One of Hip-Hop’s most eccentric and exciting voices returns with a new single, “Why They Play Me?” featuring BabyTron; “Why They Play Me?” is now available at all DSP’s.

In addition to the new single, Bruiser has officially announced his forthcoming new project, Push & Paint, which will be released on 3.13.26 (to celebrate 3:13 day in Detroit, an unofficial holiday in the D, which honors the city’s culture and history).  Push & Paint is produced in its entirety by fellow Detroiter and multidisciplinary artist Sheefy Mcfly; and the project will feature guest appearances from BabyTron, Sada Baby, Akeem Ali & Payroll Giovanni.

Push & Paint follows Bruiser’s breakout projects (POTLUCK & Made By Dope), both of which garnered heavy cultural recognition and mass attention from artists and fans alike, including Anderson .Paak and “he’s my favorite rapper” nod from Kevin Durant

A vital member of Danny Brown’s Bruiser Brigade, Bruiser Wolf has emerged as one of hip-hop’s most rapidly ascending artists. Known for his off-kilter delivery, inventive storytelling, and singular style, Bruiser has carved out his own lane while representing Detroit’s uncompromising creative spirit.

Bruiser Wolf and Sheefy Mcfly’s Push & Paint will be released on March 13, 2026, via Fake Shore Drive.
