Rebel Ramon - Die Rich

Rebel Ramon would rather “Die Rich” with the release of new single.

On Monday,Richmond Virginia artist, Rebel Ramon continued to feed his fans weekly with his new #MIsFitMonday visual.

This week, Ramon dropped a visual for “Die Rich.” The video isn’t a music video, it’s more like a visual of his thoughts on a rich life. At the beginning of the track, he reminisces on his life in the struggle, while the visual shows you a manifestation of his idea of being rich.

The visual beings with a birds-eye view of a massive mansion and, the camera show you all of the luxurious items that accommodate the crib.

He goes, “from the side of town the environment trains you to kill, risk your freedom for a shot at a mil, or just a meal. How could you judge me? I was hungry. I had hammy down coats, kicks was dusty.”

Then on the hook, he raps, “born broke, but I’m a die rich.” Rebel concludes the video with an excerpt from Malcolm X’s 1963, Racial Separation oratory.

“Inferior jobs, inferior housing, inferior education which in turn again leads to inferior jobs. We spend a lifetime in this vicious circle. Or in this vicious cycle going in circles. Giving birth to children who see no hope or future but to follow in our miserable footsteps.”

Rebel Ramon spoke on why he decided to do #MisFitMondys, “I decided to do a Misfit Monday because I had so many songs in the stash that were good but probably wouldn’t fit into my actual album. It also would showcase my versatility and give a more content-driven, lyrical side that’s much different than my club and radio records.”

Rebel Ramon is a high conscious rapper who uses lyrical content to raise the frequency of his fans. For more information on Ramon, follow him on Instagram @RebelRamon.
